Neuraldeep at the EIT Urban Mobility Mixer: Building Connections in Malta
Good conversations, ambitious startups, and a shared drive to turn ideas into useful products.
On 13 October 2026, Neural Deep Network joined the EIT Urban Mobility Mixer – Demo Day & Matchmaking at Salini Resort in Malta. Founder Tomas Jankauskas attended to connect with the people helping shape Malta’s innovation, funding and startup ecosystem.
The event brought together entrepreneurs, researchers, innovation organisations and European representatives around mobility, startup development and collaboration. Deep Tech Foundry, EIT Urban Mobility’s Malta Representative, organised the gathering alongside national and European stakeholders.

Meeting the people behind the ecosystem
A particular highlight was meeting the Deep Tech Foundry director. It was a pleasure to connect in person, and we appreciated the warm welcome.
For a growing company, these encounters matter. They create space to introduce our work, understand where we can contribute, and begin relationships that could develop into future collaborations.
We’re glad to be taking part in Malta’s startup community and getting closer to the people connecting technical ideas with business support, research and funding opportunities.

From design experience to new possibilities
Neuraldeep brings automotive and industrial-design experience into a new generation of creative tools and physical products.
Our work spans AI design agents, SketchMonkey, 3D DJ, private AI workflows and industrial 3D printing. We’re interested in how these capabilities can help teams explore concepts, develop prototypes, automate repetitive work and extend the useful life of existing products.
That makes the intersection of mobility, design and emerging technology especially relevant to us. Better tools can help designers move from an initial idea towards something they can evaluate, refine and build.
A conversation about building and funding innovation
The Innovation Exchange panel explored building and funding Malta’s innovation ecosystem. Alongside the startup presentations and networking, it offered a useful setting to think about how founders, industry, researchers and support organisations can work together.

For Neuraldeep, the direction is practical: keep developing our products, find meaningful pilot opportunities, and build relationships around problems we can help solve.

Thank you, Malta
Thank you to Deep Tech Foundry, EIT Urban Mobility, Xjenza Malta, EIT Community Hub Malta, the Malta Innovation Forum, and everyone who contributed to the event.
We left encouraged by the connections being built between Malta and Europe’s wider innovation community. We’re excited to keep contributing through design, AI and hands-on prototyping.
Working on mobility, robotics, AI or advanced manufacturing? We’d love to explore what we could build together. Contact work@neuraldeep.net.
