SketchMonkey Design Studio: Our First ChatGPT Plugin
SketchMonkey Design Studio is now available as Neuraldeep’s first ChatGPT plugin. It brings our product-design approach into a conversation: describe an idea, explore a direction, refine its colour, material and finish, and develop a visual concept.

A design studio inside your conversation
An idea rarely arrives as a perfect brief. It might begin as a sketch, a material reference or a question: what could this product become? SketchMonkey helps turn that starting point into a more considered direction, connecting creative exploration with the language of industrial design.
The plugin is built for designers, founders and creative teams exploring physical products, vehicles, hardware and spatial concepts. You can work through a brief, compare directions and request supported renders without leaving the conversation.
Five creative lenses, five ways to explore
Ren brings geometric discipline, clear parting lines and a restrained industrial character. Maya focuses on ergonomics, approachable forms and human interaction. Zola explores sculptural contrast and dramatic art direction. Kai develops polished commercial presentation. Nova opens up biomimicry, parametric patterns and experimental forms.
Use these as different perspectives on the same problem. A handheld device might benefit from Maya’s ergonomic thinking; an audio product from Ren’s precision; a modular wall-panel concept from Nova’s surface exploration. You still choose which direction deserves further development.
What you can do with SketchMonkey
Refine a product brief with Color, Material and Finish detail. Explore materials, surface textures, lighting and composition. Generate creative directions, request concept images, and develop supported product clips or turnarounds with camera guidance.
For presentation work, organize ideas into editable campaign artboards and CMF directions. Refine headlines, supporting copy, typography and accent colours through scoped edits. Brand rules and controlled variants help keep the work consistent as an idea evolves.
Three prompts to try
“Explore three directions for a compact desk speaker. Use Ren, brushed aluminium and a warm tactile control. Explain the CMF choices before rendering.”
“Develop a modular wall-panel concept inspired by Malta’s limestone and coastal light. Use Nova, soft repeating contours and a matte finish. Treat it as visual exploration.”
“Create a product campaign direction for a portable lamp. Use Maya, soft forms and a calm palette. Organize the headline, body copy and typography into editable artboards.”
How to get started
Open the SketchMonkey plugin listing in ChatGPT. Follow the connection steps shown there, then start with the product’s purpose, intended user, approximate size, materials and the direction you want to explore. Review the brief and first result before asking for variations. Available tools and generation limits follow your connected account.
From concept exploration to the next practical step
Neuraldeep comes from automotive and industrial design. Our goal is to bring that experience into useful AI design workflows where people direct the work and retain creative judgement. This plugin is one step toward our wider vision of human teams working with AI design counterparts.
Concept visuals help communicate and compare ideas. Engineering, CAD development, material selection and prototype testing remain separate steps before production. If you want to take a promising direction further, our studio can help define that next stage.
