Toyota RAV4 2026 — latest automotive design work

Tomas Jankauskas's latest Toyota work includes the 2026 RAV4 programme. This featured portfolio case brings the current vehicle's design direction into focus, alongside sketches from Toyota's official design archive.

FROM EXPLORATION TO A CLEAR SUV IDENTITY
The new RAV4 evolves an established SUV character through a more assertive front end, defined body surfaces and a purposeful stance. The selected studies show the side profile, final front view and an intermediate direction: three useful moments in the journey from an idea to a coherent vehicle.

THE DESIGN PROCESS
Sketches make the decisions visible. Compare the greenhouse, wheel arches and lower body across the studies, then look at how the grille and lighting organise the front. This is the discipline we bring to NeuralDeep: explore alternatives, resolve the overall form and test how details support the product's intended use.

FOUNDER EXPERIENCE
Tomas contributed within Toyota's wider design organisation. Automotive programmes are collective work involving design, modelling and engineering. His Toyota background also includes earlier RAV4 updates, Highlander, Venza and industrial vehicle projects.
