Mazda remembering the soul of KODO beginnings

Mazda's original "Soul of Motion" design philosophy was inspired by the company's observation of animals in the wild. The philosophy, which Mazda calls "KODO – Soul of Motion," was first seen in the Shinari concept car in 2010 and has been featured on several production cars since, including the Mazda CX-5, Mazda6 and Mazda CX-9. The philosophy is based on the idea that a car should look like it's in motion even when it's standing still.
